1 in 4 times I consistently when I start my laptop the sound is completly dead, but as soon as I restart is works fine for another 3 reboots. I already tried new drivers, no change in the problem. I have a Realtek Hd audio card. Any ideas? :pfff:

Could try uninstalling Realteck from Add/Remove Programs and reinstalling or try a Windows Repair from the CD if the CD came with the laptop. Also could do a clean install that would first require backing up you data. If none of this works, likely a hardware problem

I tryed everthing but doing a clean install, which will likely fix the problem. I will do that and update this thread as soon as I get my external hard drive.
