Very nice and very cheap heat dissipation spreaders from VANTEC. I purchased two sets for both of my Crucial DDR 400 PC3200 512MB RAM sticks.

I had problems last week with the original Kinston Ram I purchased, high end HyperX 7t, 2t, 2t, 2.5t Memory running @200MHz equal to 400MHz DDR speed.

Any how that stuff had nice heat spreaders on them but they were also Aluminium. I got some real nice shiny copper heat spreaders for my Crucial Ram sticks that I replaced the Kingston memory with and they fit like a charm and work great.

Crucial Ram got my vote last week as some of the best memory I have ever used in a game computer it is simply making the competition look real silly and at half the price...Crucial DDR400 PC3200 @ 200MHz Equals 400MHz DDR Speeds, 512MB 184-PIN DIMM 64Mx64, Part Number CT6464Z40B.

Absolutely fantastic memory chips...They will run at 400MHz DDR at BIOS settings of 8T, 3T, 3T, 3.0T or 6T, 2T, 2T, 2.5T. a setting of 7T, 2T, 2T, 2.5T will drop the memory down to 166 MHz if you need to down clock to something real stable.

Best settings for that RAM in a A7N8X Deluxe motherboard are 8T, 3T, 3T 3.0T and set the Memory to SPD that defaults to 200MHz equals 400MHz DDR and set the Ram to run in the special Aggressive mode option the BIOS in the A7N8X Deluxe that offers the nForce2 Chipsets.

The heat spreaders / heat sinks can be ordered from www.vantecusa.com

I got the Copper ones better heat dissipation over the Aluminium and the part No# for those are Model:D DR-A1C On the package it will say icebergDDR memory Heat spreaders. Only $12,00 CAN a set so thats 6 Bucks American and something like 8 million in British currency...lol

Another outstanding product for the Tweak Your P.C guys at Toms Hardware Guide.

To that little creep that posts.. I already had a cookie thank you. He must be a milf ?

I have never gone near voltages on an AMD set-up that is asking for trouble real fast. I used to overclock and set voltages higher on a few Intel chips but that was a few years ago. In fact I think it was an Intel 750 MHz and we ran that around 800MHz for almost 3 years but it was also a Scuz system and made to run fast. We retired that system when the CPU no longer supported many of the new games.

That old Scuz system would still run some applications faster then even the new CPU's because of the hard drive speed.

Hyper X and a MSI neo2 ls pentium board isn't a good combination either.
