k. I hope. I guess.

One of the schools had 3 questions about video games :

-Where World of Warcraft is being played ? (On the internet)
-What's the rival of the Sony PSP ?

and finally, one who surprised me totally for such an exam....

-Who are Sam Fisher and Solid Snake ?

With no indication at all it was about gaming, I'm guess I'm one of the
few who answered that one :)

Did they want the name of the world? Or just "on the Internet"?

    >-What's the rival of the Sony PSP ?

Sony makes Paint Shop Pro now? Rival would be Photoshop or if MS has it's
    way Acrylic.

Sam Fisher is the led-by-the-hand hero of the Splinter Cell games. Never
heard of the other. Is it like Centipede?

So did you do well on the other tests?

PlayStation? Is that some kind of Walkman? I remember Sony made those.
Gameboy? Wasn't that something you had in Fallout?

All console owners and users must be put to slow death or we face the
eventual diminishment of the IQ of the Human Race! Well, the "slow" part
    is just for fun.

I don't understand the part where you say "eventual." The process is
already going on.... Anyways, I love Dreamcast. I think it's the only
console I like beside the original Nintendo (Famicon), but it didn't last
    long because it's a Sega....

I never had the Light Pen... that makes me sad.
Had myself 12 games. Favorites would be Scramble, Web Wars and, of course,

Sniff, I had to sell my Vectrex... and my N64 along with the Z64 backup
thingie. (not that the N64 count as ancient... yet) I guess that's the price
you pay for moving halfway across the world.
And.... it doesn't help that the new country is not using 220V/50Hz.

As usual you are correct. It's the kindergarden version of the walkman. It

Ah, interesting. I'll give it a lil look-see.

*chuckles* I would actually probably be surprised if you of all people
    did -not- know that one.

The comment was more for those poor deprived souls who have never had

Especially when such things as the Metal Gear series, the Desert Strike
series, and Jade Empire are all console only (with only a couple of
exceptions, for the pedantic among us).

If you don't understand the danger, then your IQs have already been
    irreparably damaged. Sorry about that.

Yes, it's on the internet. Just not my internet, thank you!

    > -What's the rival of the Sony PSP ?

The Nintendo DS, which I have one. It's an interesting idea, but
definitely not being used to it's full potential. Although I've already
got Lunar: Dragon Song preordered for. Finally, the first new Lunar
    game in 10 years.

Sam Fisher, protagonist of the Splinter Cell series. Voiced by Michael
Ironside, at least in the US version (I'm assuming in all English
    versions).

Solid Snake, protagonist of the Metal Gear series.

And, yes, I play both consoles and PC. I got the consoles mostly
because I was sick of compatibility issues and random program crashes.
There's nothing wrong with consoles, they're just another aspect of
    gaming.

As if. Heck, my first exposure to Ultima was on the NES! Without
consoles, I would never have beheld the glorious series, never have gone
on to get the PC versions, never have joined the Dragons, and never have
graced you all with my presence.

And I pity your poor lives then. For better or for worse, you cannot
deny that I make life interesting.

Of course, if console games lowered IQ, then nobody would be able to
think their way through some of the games. CLearly, you are in error.

Tell me, how much experience do you have with console games?

Actually, I don't remember the first verse all that well. (Bad me! Need
to replay!) I remember the second, and at least half of the third.

Meh./ I've been hearing mixed stuff about it. I heard it's not even
    being made by GameArts!

    Tell that to Polychromic.

Me? I agree. Omnischool, omniplatform (well, I don't have all platforms,
but I have nothing against the ones I don't have - they just don't have
games I want), omnicompany. RPGamer at heart, although I have dabbled in
other genres of late, with rather nice results.

Anyway, been a while, Dalboz. I still remember your megatrivia posts.
    Good times.
