B & W CDM 7 Loudspeakers, (special edition).

I am currently auditioning a pair of B & W CDM 7 Loudspeakers, (special
edition), with a Quad System, (CDP 99 CD player, 909 Power Amp and the
Quad Pre Amp). I have read the various available reviews online etc.,
and I find them really wonderful but before I clinch the deal with my Hi
Fi shop here in the UK I wonder if there is anyone who currently uses
them or has used them in the past who would give me an evaluation of
them. Although the rest of my system is brand new the Loudspeakers are
second hand in good condition and the asking price is £800 (sterling of
course).
