I would like to get the best memory available

I bought a module of the corsair Corsair XMS Extreme Memory 512MB PC3500 DDR 433MHz, and I wanted to upgrade to get a gig.

But lo, they dont make it anymore >_<

Since I cant find this stuff for sale anywhere, I was wondering what the best memory would be for a A64 3000 system running a MSI K8T Neo "fis2r" mobo? I want it for gaming. I dont want to get ripped off, but if there is awesome ram which is a little costly, I dont mind paying it. Just want to get this out of the way.

I was going to RMA this memory. Unless someone knows a place where I can get it?

- If you'd like a module at least as good as Corsair XMS PC3500 C2, get Mushkin PC3500 Level-II. There's some in stock at NewEgg at the current time. Manually set DDR voltage to 2.75V. For stability reasons, it may be necessary to set the memory timings (CAS Latency - tRCD (RAS-to-CAS delay) - tRP (RAS Precharge)) to 2-3-2 instead of 2-2-2.

- Winbond Rev B based modules are fast disappearing. So, many are trying to grab it up before it's all gone.

I'm running my memory at 2-2-2-5. Mushkin lvl 2, no stability issues whatsoever. barton2500+locked doing 15k out of the box benchmarks.

Tried 2-2-2-11 timings? A lot of folks have benchmarked better by using it with nForce2 chipset.

Not yet. i do plan on it. I'm pretty impressed with my barton. I'm an inteliot pretty much, but i'm going to have to say i love this rig a lot better than my 2.6c.
I just like to think i have a little 1.9ghz guy making better scores than the average 2.6c out there.
