Hello, OK, let me start this off by saying I am computer illiterate, I mean, I can e-mail and stuff, but the simplest fixes? I get lost really quick, but I'm trying to change that and hopefully, you all can help. OK
I have a 2011 Toshiba Satellite S-series (I think...can't remember the exact model) and it's given me problems in the past, and last night I shut it down like normal and I forgot to send off an e-mail so I immediately started it back up and instead of going to the windows screen to sign me in, it shows a black screen with a white bar that says, "Windows is Loading Files" and then it goes to the startup repair, I figured it's whatever and so I let it run, but now it seems it is stuck in an infinite loop and I checked out the details and the error is: "Boot Manager Failed to find OS Loader, error 0x490" or something like that.
Well, I researched it and apparently this is a normal problem that is fixable, but I don't have a recovery disk, but I do have another laptop (or rather, my sibling does) with Windows 7 on it as well, can I create a restore disk from her computer? If so, how do I do that?
All help is appreciated, however, please keep the jargon to a minimum, because I REALLY don't know much about computers at all, but I am determined to try and fix this problem.
