Laptop cooling options

I just recently received my gaming laptop from Dell and of course it pumps out a lot of heat. I've been looking for some colling solutions 3rd party external and I was turning to the Tom's hardware crowd for suggestions. It's the 17" wide screen version. One thing I've found so far is http://www.xoxide.com/evercool-np-501-black.html but I don't know if it's worth the money. Any suggestions are welcome.

I've heard that the Coolermaster Notepal W1 does work for 17", but it's a bit precarious. I'm not sure, but the new Notepal Infinite model seems to be much better in terms of actual laptop support, so try checking that out.
