Hey everyone, My desktop is getting old and senile and it's time for me to upgrade. Problem is, I'm back in college and need mobility now, but I still want to play games on my laptop as well and I don't have a ton of money to spend. I've never had a laptop before, used them a lot, but never owned one, so I'm really out of the loop when it comes to hardware, value and upgradability.

I've been doing research but if anyone has any good tips or suggestions I'd appreciate the help. I'm looking to spend around $500 and get the best value i can while hopefully retaining upgradable capabilities. (swap out cpu for faster ect.)
