So, I have been having some trouble lately with some programs crashing and I decided to test my memory with memtest86.
I ran memtest with the option for all tests (option 3, I think) and let it run overnight. So, after 9.5 hours of testing, memtest had produced two errors.
Is this an acceptable number of errors, or should I be worried about this? Also, what other ways are there of testing memory stability on a computer?
System specs:
Intel P4 2.8C
Asus P4P800
2 x 256 MB PC3500 Kingston HyperX @ 2-3-2-6
MSI Ti4200-8x-128MB
Wester Digital 80 GB, 8MB cache, 7200 rpm HDD
TDK 40x 16x 24x CD-RW
Antec SmartBlue 350 W PSU
No overclocking.
