Denon AVR 3805 vs. Integra DTR 7.4

I have not found a place where I can listen to these two for comparison
purposes. My system includes:

Yamaha A1000
Pioneer DLP201
Mitsubishi SVHS VCR
Definitive Technology Speakers
BP10 Mains
C1 Center
BP2 surround
Velodyne Sub

This is in a carpeted room about 20 x 12 ft. I first purchased this
system in '93, so you know it needs upgrading. I would also like to
run at least one additional zone off the new receiver. I could use the
A1000 as the amp if necessary. I realize this is a personal preference
question, but I just wanted to see what others thought. Which receiver
would you choose? Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance for
