I finally managed to kill my MSI wind by dropping it about 8 feet onto concrete. (this is after breaking the screen once and replacing it, and a host of other ills inflicted on the little guy.)

Can anyone recommend a replacement?

Important to me:

1. Battery life: the higher the better
2. Weight\size, the wind is a great size, heavier would not be advantageous (I have to take it everywhere, I can't even feel the wind, but the 6 pound dell I'm using temporarily feels really heavy\big)
3. screen resolution: I'd like to get at least 1024x768 (mainly because I config sonicwalls, and hate having to switch to pan-768 from 1024x600 to work on certain dialog boxes)
4. Cost

Thanks for any input!

A great netbook that i recently bought:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6834101191

This is great!!! It has a CULV dual core proc instead of a crappy atom, and a 4500hmd over a 950m intel integrated graphics. It can run HD video very well.

Its a great choice
