Hello everyone! :)

I have decided to buy 1 of these 2 laptops:

Toshiba Satellite x200-15k (http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/jsp/productPage.do?service=EU&PRODUCT_ID=131332)
----------------------------------
Intel® Core%u21222 Duo Processor T7700 (2.4 GHz)
2048 MB of RAM
HDD 300GB
HD DVD rom
NVIDIA® GeForce® 8700M GT supporting TurboCache%u2122 technology

or

Toshiba Satellite x200-21k
(http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/jsp/productPage.do?service=EU&PRODUCT_ID=135407)
---------------------------------
Intel® Core%u21222 Duo Processor T7700 (2.4 GHz)
2048 MB of RAM
HDD 300GB
HD DVD rom
NVIDIA® SLI dual GeForce® 8600M GT supporting TurboCache%u2122 technology

Basically, everything is the same except the graphics card. I would need some help to decide whether X200-21k is better than X200-15k or the other way around.

I will appreciate your help very much.

Thanx.

As you said the only difference is the graphics card. The 8700 in the first is better than the 8600 in the second. What's the difference in price between the two?

Hi! Thanx for reply.

I am aware of the fact that 8700M GT > 8600M GT, but the thing I don't know is if 2 x 8600M GT are better than 8700M GT or not :)
So:

SLI dual 8600M GT vs. 8700M GT (so one only)

Difference in price is very low - in some places 15k is more expensive, and in some places 21k is more expensive.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH! Your post just made me realize that I can't read. Yes, dual 8600's will be better than the single 8700. The 8700GT is nothing more than an overclocked 8600 so it doesn't bring much more than higher clock speeds to the table. Sorry about that, I haven't had my coffee yet. If there isn't much difference in price, then get the better of the two, which would be the 21K

Thanx a lot :) I thought so, but I had to be sure anyway.
Than it seems that I am getting this one after all :)
