Hey all

I was just wondering wether the Skull 3000A case was better than the 2000A case. The Skull is more recent but the 2000A has 7 fans (rather than 4) and costs more and is aluminium rather than steel. I'm mainly looking for which one would be best for overclocking

If anyone can help out that would be great

If you want to make an aeroplane out of your case, pick that with 7 fans and install a few more. However, i would prefer a quiet case, so pick that with the 4 fans and discard 3 of them. When you get into thermal problems, you may want to install 1 or 2 of them again.

I don't mind noise really, considering the noise my current one makes (broken or dirty old fans) and considering i have a rather large aircon above my computer that also makes a fair amount of noise and when it's on even drowns out my current computer

I was really wondering which one was more compitent in case of cooling

i'm probably going to be using a water cooling system inside it so i'm going to need the space, i don't know wether the 7 fan one will have it, although it might be taller than the 3000 i'm not sure

Main question does more fans always equal cooler case or is it more the placement of a few specific fans (ie:4) in the right spots that makes for optimal cooling?

I you go for water cooling, I can't see what you'll need all those case fans for.
