Well I have been looking at the new ASUS laptops and these are the ones I have boiled it down too with a list of the differences.

G1S-B2 Total: $1,839.00 15.4"
Free Gaming Headset
4GB of RAM
1.3MP Camera
T7700

C90S Total: $1,925.01 15.4"
3GB of RAM
2.0MP Camera
Fingerprint Reader
HD-DVD Drive
E6700
MXM II GPU

G2S-B2 Total: $2,098.00 17"
Free Gaming Headset
4GB of RAM
1.3MP Camera
T7700

Now they all have the 8600M GT. Only the C90S says its MXMII, but if its the same video card are they all MXMII? How much difference is there between the 1.3MP and the 2.0MP cameras? If I am not using Windows Vista does the 3GB only show up as 2GB under XP or will it not work at all? In Vista does it make a big difference between the 3GB of RAM and the 4GB of RAM. Now the only difference between the G1S-B2 and the G2S-B2 is the 2" of monitor and resolution. Is the 2" a lot better in you guys opinion? Last question :) ...I got these prices from GenTechPC, is there any cheaper?

1)Not all laptop cards are upgradeable. Now, assuming that they are all the EXACT same card, then yes, they should all use the MXMII slot (most likely this is the case).
2) Not sure, don't really use web-cams
3) I think you are confusing your info a little with the RAM. In any 32-bit OS (XP or Vista) only 3.** gb of RAM will be detected by the operating system. In any 64-bit OS (Vista or XP) the full 4gb will be detected.
4) With Vista, 1gb is a necessity and anything over will only increase your performance. I don't know how RAM intensive the programs you run are so I can't say whether you will benefit from 4 over 3.
5)Screen size and resolution is completely a personal choice. Each has its own turnoff. A higher res will give you a nice, sharp image, but your text size will be small. A larger screen gives you the ability to use higher resolutions and have more real estate, but it comes with an added weight penalty. Larger laptops tend to also be heavier. I suggest you go to a local computer store and mess around with the laptops they have on display to see what you like best.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. The thing with the RAM was from the website I was looking at the laptop on. It had the option to upgrade to 3GB of RAM but next to it, it said not compatible with XP or something.
