Halo codes

Ive completed Halo: Combat Evolved on 2 seperate occasions now and I wanted
to have a race between me and my friend using god mode to see who can
finish it the fastest, after searching through different websites i found how
to enable the console (by adding -console -devmode to the shorcut's target)
and a list of the cheats for the game however not one of them works, can you
tell me if the cheats im using are indeed corect or if
their are different ones? im using v1.06

codes used:
cheat_deathless_player 1
cheat_bottomless_clip 1
