Why doesn\'t sprint enhance their tower?

I am only getting 1 bar on my Sprint htc Evo 4G. Someone told me about Airave, but why doesn't Sprint enhance their towers?

Because they don't feel like spending the money. If you want to find out the exact marketing and business decisions they have about your particular square mile of space, get the corporate contact number from www.sprint.com and ask to be connected to a VP or higher.

You can get an Airave. Sprint is in middle of upgrading all of there cell phone towers to 4glte and evdo rev b 3g. I know its annoying i live a 1/4 mile from a tower and i go from 4 bars down to 1 in my house. Sice they are working on my tower i dont get above 2 bars now. So i got an airave and fixes it!

I hope it's soon. It's so frustrating seeing Verizon or AT&T users with great reception and data coverage and I get nada when I'm in the same area. However it's been nice that I pay less than them and with unlimited data.

Yeah, well while it is unlimited data... after 2GB is used, the bandwidth throttles down to a download speed varying from 15KB/s to 30KB/s depending on the signal. But better than AT&T and Verizon. I believe Verizon charges you $15 every 1GB you go above your limit.
