soundblaster disappears!

Hi,
I just changed several components in my system, including the motherboard: MSI 865pe Neo2LS.
Everything is running very well, except that my soundblaster live-platinum, with the front panel unit, looks not installed. After installing drivers and software, when I try to use the Creative Playcenter I get the following:

"PlayCenter could not find the necessary hardware or drivers to execute properly"

Why is that?

Anybody has any idea?

the card appears but with the microsoft driver.
When I try to install new drivers from the Creative Labs CD it does not find them.
As a consequence I cannot use any of the controls from the mentioned software (mixer, volume controls, speakers configurations etc.) because they do not detect the hardware or the drivers .
I actually found out that there might be incompatibility with windows 2000 (in the microsoft web site). But I do not understand how I can resolve the issue.

Any help will be appreciated.
