On a case that has one front 1394 port but a mobo that doesn't have a 1394 port how do you go about connecting the 1394 front port to the mobo. Also I want at least one 1394 port on the back of the case also.........

LOL. You don't!

You can get a 1394 port at the back by adding a card with a 1394 port. Some sound cards comes with a 1394 port.

Ok thanks for the reply. Yes I know about the 1394 PCI cards. My deal is I'm using a case that has a 1394 port on the front and want to use it if I can. Now the mobo that I am considering does not have 1394. Now the answer to that is obvious. I was wondering if there may be a PCI card that can be added that will have also a place to plug in this 1394 cable into on the inside of the card. Am I also S.O.L. on that deal.....I know where I could stick this 1394 cable but it may limit my movements....Thanks
