I apologize if this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

My dad has a Lenovo R60 which is a duo core processor. Does this mean it supports dual-channel memory?

If so, is 1 gb (paired 512) memory better than a 1gb and 512mb chip?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
