I'm looking for 32" LCD for under 1000.00 dollars. I found Soyo Onyx Series 32" HD-Ready LCD TV - DYLTO32D. I was looking for anything about this product. I heard LG make panel for Soyo.

I'm looking to buy LCD for Xbox 360 and connection to a PC (web surfing & movie play back). I think it is fast enough for gaming, but I have no idea on image quality. It has 8ms response time, but I'm not sure if latency is involved. It does hav DVI input, but does not have HDMI. Is HDMI better then DVI? Should I wait for X-mas sale before buying? Sharp and Samsung is good, but they are over 1000.00 dollars for 32" LCD.

HDMI and DVI are equal in terms of quality. However, DVI is on it's way out in terms of it existance in consumer electronics. HDMI is the future.

Keep in mind that DVI to HDMI adapters exist and are cheap (assuming you don't buy Monster's rip off adapter). I have one for my Sony HDTV. Works great.

As for a 32inch LCD <$1000, google it. Try www.pricewatch.com too.

Here's one that's not a Soyo:

Here's a viewsonic:

Not sure who actually makes the screens though.
