Bascailly was tinkering with my mums laptop the other day, removing version 6 of Kaspersky and installing version 7 and now I can no longer connect to her wireless hub (BTHomeHub for those that wish to know). I am able to connect to it fine with a wire and can connect to the internet to it fine but when I unplug the cable I can't seem to find it in the wireless networks search. Occasionally it may pop up but then it tells me that the adapter is unable to connect. I did fiddle around with the wireless adapter a bit and tried to update the drivers but in doing so I forgot what the wireless card was and now I think it may have the wrong drivers loaded. Can anyone help?
I think I have figured out what is going on. It seems BT have updated their HomeHub with some new guinea pig firmware for certain users to test. Without telling them. Which was nice. Will just have to wait until they release a proper version I guess.
