Hello, I'm new to tom's. I am an avid gamer, and very much used to having 2 monitors at all times.

I want to upgrade to 2, 19" monitors that will perform well for gaming along with text and DVD playback. I also want them to last me at least 4 years or so with no dead pixels.

I know I want 8ms response time. Money is not too much of a problem, as long as under 400 each. What else do I need to consider?

Ideas or comments on these or other models would be appreciated.

A single Dell 2405 would be nice for around $800.

But if dualies are a must, might you get two 20" LCD's?

go for the Hyundai L9OD+, I've heard nothing but greaat reviews on that guy, especially for gaming
