hey folks. Been on this 17 ich CRT for years and it's starting to wear on my eyes. I'm particularly sensitive to any flickering or changes in the refresh rate.

Anyway, I have been researching monitors endlessly. From the vx924 to the Samsung 940b to the hyundai l40 to you name it. I was looking at the viewsonic vp930b ( which now seems to have a defect problem).

I have narrowed it down to the samsung 930b,samsung 940b , and the Princeton vl1918:http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11064645&whse=BC&topnav=&browse= .

Of these monitors, which would you choose? I saw the previous Princeton monitor , the Vl1916 with Half Life 2 running and it seemed quite good. Noticed a bit of ghosting though as it was 25ms.

Thanks for any comments.

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 940B, bought it yesterday. It's my first LCD monitor, and i'm liking it so far.

Hey guys thanks for the advice. Just picked up the Samsung 940b today, 349$ after rebate. I have yet to take it out of the box, but plan to set it up tomorrow.

I was going to go for the Dell 2005 20 inch widescreen, but in the end decided I wanted something faster, and I felt that 20 inches was not really enough to go widescreen (24 is another matter).
