I am looking at jumping ship from my iPhone 3GS on AT&T to something different. I am one of the lucky few that has never had a problem with AT&T so I get great mobile speeds and no dropped calls. However I am wanting to try something different. It seems Android 2.0 really is starting to show promise. I am also impressed with the WebOS that Palm has. As far as service I know they are both CDMA but are going toward different 4G technologies; Verizon (LTE) and Sprint (WiMax). I really like the pricing from Sprint since I primarily only call cell numbers. But the DROID looks like a mean piece of hardware and I know Verizon has a massive network. If people owning either of these phones could let me know what their impressions of each are and what they think is pluses/minuses of their respective device. I have played with both a bit in their respective stores. Both seem very function but I know that those store models probably are jacked from everyone messing with their settings. Thanks in advance.
Trust me, if you're now used to the iPhone's responsive interface, trying something else might be hard for you. Personally, I never really got into the iPhone ecosystem, but there are good reasons why it's easily the most notable and popular phone nowadays, even if it has features and capabilities a bit behind it's less intuitive competitors.
