More about laptop gaming question
  1. u will be able to play both of them fairly well, crysis probably not on high (with good fps) though. maybe u should wait a while since the 8800m card is fairly new and is probably way overpriced at the moment to save a few bucks or maybe even go for an sli system
  2. how the heck did you go about getting 3k for a gaming system!!

haha whats the trick? - Sounds aweosme to me mate :P Would kick my desktop out of the water (just about). I think you would have no probs cod4 on high and POSSIBLY crysis.
  3. Nice laptop!
  4. I'm glad u listened to what i have told u about the laptops and i am sure u will enjoy it, its a solid laptop and u wont have any problems running those games
also u have the chance of adding the second 8800M GTX later :)
  5. The only thing I'd question about that laptop is the 5400 rpm drive, it'll be your main bottleneck. I'd suggest upgrading to a 7200 rpm if you can afford that (considering the 3 grand...:p)
  6. yep i forgot to say that, get a 7200 rpm HDD because its faster

LOL. I love it, he gets money for school and he spends it on gaming.
  8. maybe not just gaming but he'll do otherstuff for school too. thats what im doing with my np5792 when i get it...
  9. That's what I did with the lappy in my sig. Granted I didn't use school money for it...
  10. Same here. Gaming is definitely involved, but come on, I still need something to do Word on. And my room mate's tiny 14.1 inch HP just won't cut it! :D
