Hey guys I just got my LCD, viewsonic vp930b, and wanted to make sure I had it setup best. I uninstalled the CRT monitor in device manager and updated to viewsonic vp930b so it recognizes it.

I plugged it in VIA dvi (not vga). I am running native res. 1280x1024.

I notice that text could stand to look a little sharper and there is a slight hint of grainy-ness on the desktop. Am I missing something to correct this? Are there settings in the monitor menu that have an effect on this that I am unware of?

Also, should I install the bundled viewsonic software or is that just bloat-ware?
