Please Help

I need some help here. My mother board fried so I just purchased a new board, cpu, memory etc. I had a raid set up and was wondering if I can transfer the two hard drives to my new computer and set up another raid without losing the data.

If it is the same type of RAID controller, it should be possible.
It will probably not work if is not the same type of controller. The controller writes some metadata to the drives. The format of this depends on the controller. A different controller may not recognise this.

A friend of Mine did it with different controllers and it did NOT work..
