Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general (More info?)

 

Trying to remame a folder but get dialog box "it is being used by another
person or program"......etc. However can rename the files in the folder. Have
looked at Task Manager but can't see the offending service.

try from safe mode.

it's not a system folder right? (i.e., Windows, Documents & Settings,
Program Files, etc..)
