HI
over here we got Samsung SyncMaster 730BF 17" 4ms Monitor,do u think its worth buying or its expensive ? its $450

- 700:1 contrast ratio
- 270cd/m2 Brightness
- 160degrees Viewing Angle
- MagicTune and MagicBright2 calibration software

That lcd is a really really gd lcd however if u can get an Vx924, go and get it.. I am using Vx924 for like 5 days and its like perfect.. However 550:1 contrast ratio seems not enogh sometimes.. If u have a chance to get it like 350$ go and get it.. Its cheap out in your countries eh? (I got it like 620$ + tax => 730$ so its more than 2 Vx924 lcdz, so if u can get it at those prices, *crushes head to walls* run and get it coz its just great.. What a country I am livin in, wishes I had a chance to get that from there.. Nvm, good luck .. if u have a question about Vx924 I can surely reply it..
@cause_of_death
i didnt say i got it for $350 lol , user danizaken said "The ViewSonic VX924, 19 inch lcd monitor for 350$ is a much better deal" , in my small country (malta)we dont have Viewsonic or Dell ( i think ) , if i had to get 1 of them i would have to order it from the UK and on ebay the vx924 is £228.65+£14.99+Tax . where r u from cause_of_death ? $720 seems like a high price .
and on some sites the vx924 specs r different
Contrast Ratio: 500:1 ( other sites say 550:1 )
Response time: 4ms ( other sites say 3ms )
who to believe LOL ?

I didn't recommend the dell instead of the viewsonic.
Both are very good panels, I believe that the viewsonic will be slightly better than the dell for gaming, but it lacks the high native resolution of 1680 x 1050 that the dell has.
