Lenovo 3000 N100 apparently has crappy speakers according to Cnet review. Is this the case with the N200?

The Acer 5520 has an AMD 1.8 processor instead of an Intel. Good thing or not?

Which should I choose?

And then: is it true that the only difference between XP Pro and XP Home is that Pro facilitates networking.

Most laptops have pretty crappy speakers, it just comes with the territory. Do you have full specs for each or at the least, links to each unit?

XP Pro has some added security features that home doesn't, but for basic use, home should be fine.
