Hello,
I hope that someone can help me.
I have just purchased a new computer with a D865PERL mainboard which has Soundmax 4.0 on it. I have 3 output jacks on the board. Their colours are: Blue, Green and Pink. The blue is for the rear speakers, the green for the front speakers and the pink for the centre/rear speakers.
I wish to connect this to my 5.1 capable hifi system, but this has only one coaxial digital input and one optical input (aside from the analog RCA inputs, which would only be stereo.)
Is there a way that I can connect this up? Is there perhaps a cable that I can make with three 3.5mm plugs going to one coaxial plug, and if so, how would I go about wiring something like that up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your time!
Ben
