Hi guys,

I just got a g-NagaIV and got it installed just fine. I am connecting it through the DVI port at 1280 x 1024. I have a Nvidia 6800 card and it detects the monitor correctly. I had to get the driver for the monitor for windows xp pro that i am running. So all if fine with that now.

MY question is that I dont have the option to update the refresh rate because my only choice is 60 mhz. Is this normal? I thought i should be able to push it up to at least 70 or 75mhz.

I would really appriciate if someone can clear this up for me or help me figure out why its not giving me that option.

thanks,
Ken

LCDs don't need the high refresh rates CRTs needed to avoid flicker because the LCD displays the color until told to change it while the CRT it faded in a split second, hence the flicker as the screen flashed bright to dim to bright...

I've heard of some LCDs capable of over 60 refresh but I don't know anything about it - default 60 was fine for me (but it wasn't ok for me on a CRT).

Mike.

Thanks Mike appriciate the reply. Yes mine runs at 60 mhz pretty good..no fliker or anything but i was just wondering if I was missing something because on the manufacturers website it says 1280 x 1024 @ 75 mhz and i didnt even get that choice because the only choice avaliable to me is 60.

Thanks thought!
