Bezel Removal

So its like this, Im geting two 17" crts for like 10$ each from a friend an I want to try to take off the bezel of each and then cut one side off on each so that I can put them together screen two screen and run dual montors wihout a bezel in the way. Is there any guide or any help you guys could suggest or is this a bold new fronteir? Thanks.

No guide I know of, just want to say I think you'll be unhappy... The bezel hides about an inch of CRT on each side that is unable to display anything, but is part of the picture tube so the monitors can't get that close - there will be a big gap.

ok thanks thats dissapoining but ill give it a try anyways becasue I'm interested, Ill probably just end up recyling them any ways.
