Monitor switching

I have a SONY laptop Model PCG-842L with Windows XP Home. I would like to switch bewteen the laptop 14" monitor and an external 21" LCD monitor. I have tried the Fn + F5 0r F6 with no success - any suggestions??

Which key on your keyboard shows the monitor switching button? My Dell has a [CRT/LCD] written on the switching key, and it varies from laptop to laptop.

Make sure your monitor is securely and correctly plugged into the proper ports as well.

P.S. If you don't know which key you're supposed to press, take a picture of your keyboard and upload it somewhere. Then give us a link so we know what your keyboard looks like.
