hi

i am fallen on this article on the AMD site but i am not convinced.

opinions?

its sort of true but the difference is negligible, having an athlon and win xp isnt going to help you type faster.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

Maybe for the P4, since WinXP has SSE2 support. But even then the interface does not use it, and there seems to be no SSE 2 mentioning under its general usage.

But it's always good to have the latest working OS with the latest hardware. If you have new hardware, WinXP will be a very good friend to you, but if you use Voodoo 3 TVs...good luck.
