I went to some web sites and finally found that my IE home page was set to a
certain URL and there's no way to change it (it was disabled), so I went to
REGEDIT.exe, but it said that 'Registry Editing has been diabled by your
administrator',
how to solve this problem? thanks

hi there if you undo the large panel keeping your bat near your knees then the memory is in the bottom left hand corner under the plastic flap, i have upgraded to a sata 120gb hard drive wd with no hassels and the memory i got from top ram this also has worked fine with the mim2120, it was a great little laptop till i shorted it out with the usb ports, thats one thing to keep an eye on the plastic seperator in the usb connection comes loose. hope this helps,( think you will find that most laptop hard drives will fit in your mim2120, the new laptops that have a different spec use a new type of connection to which i have now found out, also if your looking to make your system a little quicker invest in a usb hard drive and let windows use that as a spare hard drive this will increase your speeds) .......
The actual replacing isn't difficult I have looked at the hard drive on my MIM2120 as well. Turn your laptop upside down and it is the panel under the Medion sticker with the Model number. It has a pad on it amd 2 screw to take off . The flap just then will slide off. I noticed this when upgrading my Ram I took most of them off and then found the ram in the larger flap.
I too am going to maybe upgrade my hard drive as 40gb? That is too little for me. My ps3 has that amount and really you need more memory on a laptop than that but still only seems £70 for upgrading to a good spec!
If you use xp 32 bit you can only use 2gb and if Medion said in their book to not use more than 1gb per slot I would'nt disrespect this
