I'm looking to put 2 x 2GB SODIMM modules into an M400 and was wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations for this tablet?

The product specs says it uses PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM

Anything on this list should work with your system: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] +(2+x+2GB)

The only two companies I'm iffy about are A-data and PNY, but only because I have no experience with them.

By recommendation do you mean types of RAM? Because pretty much any PC2-5300 SODIMM (the SODIMM means it fits the laptop ram slots) ram will fit in your notebook. The ram should be hidden under a panel somewhere on the bottom of your notebook. Switching out ram nowadays is pretty easy.

For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820145193 would be an option.

Keep in mind that if you're running a 32 bit operating system, you'll only see about 3.25-3.5 gigs of that ram, because the rest can't be used unless you have a 64 bit operating system.

Thanks all who answered, I've ordered some of the Corsair RAM from a local supplier and am looking forward to being able to address (most) of it in the near future :)
