Red Hat 7.xyz

i want to install red hat on my 2nd drive (not using 17gigs of it) but i do not want it to install any form of dual boot tool, i just want to launch it with a floppy. will it prompt me in the install with this option or is it going to mess with the boot record, etc?

  1. If you do a default install it will set it all up for you - eg partitioning, and installing boot loaders etc.

Do a custom install, and when it gets to the section in the installer about installing a boot loader (LILO/grub) just tell it not to.
