Hi everybody,
Basically I am planning to get a Asus A7N8X-E motherboard (Dual-Channel capable) for my new computer and I was wondering which RAM solution is actually better.
At Newegg.com I see that they are selling Kingston ValueRam DualKits 512MB (2x256) PC-3200 CL3 for 90$ as well as single 512MB stick BUT with CL 2.5 for 96$.
I understand that CL is very important in RAM but I heard so is dual-channel.My question is in this particular situation what would be a better thing to buy. I am planning on overclocking my 2500 athlon Xp by raising the FSB, and I don't have 130$ for the Hyper-X series.
(By the way, I will probably be looking further to try and find a comparable 2.5CL DualKit ram, but I am just curious how dual channel importance stacks up against faster ram)
Thanks,
Ps. Also, just how important is it really to get a DualKit RAM as opposed to buying 2 same sticks seperately?
Ps. Also is there maybe any particular Ram in this pricerange (100$ max.) you could recommend.
I don't even believe in JEBUS!
Homer, you are on the flight to a remote island where you will be doing some missionary work.
SAVE ME JEBUS!!!!!!
