Consider using Foxit Reader.

Foxit Reader is just a PDF Reader, so I can't understand why did you suggest it!?!

PocketSlide (from Conduits) seems the best, but its $20, here:

If u need something really good, and a PowerPoint Editor, I haven't find anything better than SoftMaker 2008. It's much better than any other office suite that I've ever tried. Unfortunelly its not free, and worse, it's a little expensive!!!
