I need a cd burner, probably in a laptop, that will have a small footprint. It cannot take up much tabletop space.

Further, I expect to burn about 1000 audio CD'S per year on it.

My questions are:

What do you suggest for a laptop/notebook that will include a cd burner.

Is a cd burner typically replaceable in a laptop?

How many cds can I expect to get from one cd burner?
