Lexmark x1185 printer

Hello,
I have a toshiba l305-s5892 laptop running window 7 The printer can't communicate with the laptop. The printer worked with the acer 5515 I had. What's the problem?

I have the same problem, bought this printer at a garage sale, can't get it to work, the drivers are not valid, keeps asking me to download from their website, but it makes me download some Samsung Mobile drivers which I already had on my PC due to using a Samsung phone. Nothing works.

Problem is that printer does not have Win 7 drivers, it supports only up to Vista.

You could try with the Vista drivers (try in compatibility mode) , but there is no warranty it will work.

The other option is to try through Windows add printer Wizard, and search Windows update for drivers.

Before trying any of these options uninstall previous drivers.
