Computer recognizing USB Mass storage device but not shown through com

Hi,

I connected a USB 2.0 mass storage to my laptop. I can see that drivers installed successfully, an icon in the system tray and green lght on on the USB storage device but when i pen m computer, i am not able to see any icon or device icon to open folders. How can i get my data back or ope the folders? Please hlp me. I am in very much need of this data.
