The 80 watts total power (30 sub and 30 center) is no where near enough. Now ive been looking around at some wicked awsome 5.1 systems with lots of power, but are way to expensive for me.

I had an idea the other day. I found some 3-way speakers that run at 200 watts (6 inch sub, 2 and a 1 inch tweeter) and my dad put them in his car. They sound awsome and have plenty of power and thump for my taste. So I figured I would get 5 of these (hence the 5.1 aspect) and run them off my creative 5700 mixer.

Im prety sure that the mixer will not put out that kind of power, and I was thinking, I counld run amplifiers from the mixer. How would I go about dooing that? I also want to run some subs (dont know size yet, mabie 12 inch) from the mixer too.

On a side note I can get 2 of those speakers for $20 each ( i have a good hook up ) and I have no idea on the amplifier type or set up. Its my first time in this aera.

Thanks if you can help me.
