I currently have a MSI Neo2 FISH2R motherboard and I'm thinking about buying Geil ram. I looked at toms hardware memory section and there was a table which showed that the GeIL Ultra Platinum PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR Kit did not boot when inserted into the MSI Neo2 FISH2R motherboard. So I was wondering if the Geil Golden Dragon PC3700 466MHz Dual Channel Kit will work with the MSI Neo2 FISH2R motherboard?

PS. the link to the table - scroll to bottom of page

Generally speaking "underclocked" RAM is more stable, so it probably would work.

In reality there are several grades of PC3200. The worst is called PC3200, next up in stability is PC3500, etc. PC3700 is nothing more than PC3200 that's been tested stable enough that it can reach the higher speed on at least some boards.
