More Information

First off I have a Dell Inspiron 2200 Laptop.

Ok, what I am looking for is a base station or dock or whatever, that let's me add another hard drive and battery to my laptop while still being able to carry it around. If such a thing doesn't exist, how do I make a plastic shell in which I can fit an extra battery which connects to the rear AC input and add a USB hard drive or too that are powered thru the USB port?

I was wondering if these components would work if I built it myself?
