Ok this question might have been asked a 1000 times, and now im asking it again, so if there is a post or site that can solv it pls direct me to that place.
ok heres the problem.
Ive had a descussion with a friend bout the refresh rate of a TFT monitor.
As its known at that point, was that a TFT monitors refreash rate couldnt go over 75 Hz ( by windows), and if you play counterstrike, some people whould want 100 FPS ( and lets us for the sake of this thread not go into if your eyes can detect that FPS or not).
So side 1 says :
If you want 100 FPS and play CS on it whould be a bad idea to get a TFT monitor, becourse you whould only get 75 FPS.
Side 2 :
Well TFT does only update thoes pixles that change, so you get a more "stable" picture with a TFT monitor.
Side 1:
True but in 3D games first person shooters, you tend to move around alot, thus every pixle whould somehow change, thus give you a FPS of 75 Hz
Side 2 :
You cant compare Hz from a TFT with the HZ from a CRT monitor.
Who is right and/or what is the right answer to this, whould be great with either a detailed explanation or a link to one.
