i am planning on purchasing a scanner and was just wondering on your opinions regarding the epson 4490 and the canoscan 8400f. which is better of the two? if both is not that good what would you recommend. i have a maximum budget of about $300. i will mainly use it for print restoration, high resolution output and any other picture enhancements.
