Nokia Backup File Opener

Hello,
I created a backup on my memory card for my nokia e-65. now i am unable to restore it back on my phone after formating the phone. when trying to restore the process is completed in less than a second and the phone restarts but nothing is restored.
i have somehow extracted the file backup.arc from the memory card but i am unable to view its contents.
