It all depends on which PC or Mac you have?
Which Palm Desktop version?

In Desktop v. 4.1.4 on Windows 2002, File menu, Page setup dialog.
Choose Letter size (8.5 x 11), and change the margins to 2.375 left and
right, and 2.125 top and bottom to give you a print area of 3.75 x 6.75.

-=OR=-

Change paper size to legal, print it out on legal size (8.5 x 14), and
photo copy at 48% reduction. This works real well.

Hope this helps.

I have Palm Desktop 4.1 running on Dell Inspiron 8100 Windows XP. I tried
changing the margins as described in your post. Any time I change a margin and
ask it to print, the computer freezes up.

It could be the printer causing the problem. I have an HP Photosmart that
has a 4x6 photo paper tray, and these can cost less than US$200. Also, I am
running XP. How much RAM do you have, and disk space available?

I'm in the Max OS 10.3 world. Select your print option. you will find
an option for layout, and a button for setup wich allows you to set
your paper size.
